Project Identification and Support Process :
KIT works with the Volunteer support of peopleThe beneficiaries may be proposed by the Trust donors / Pattars Net Samooham Group members / Organizations, with sufficient background information to support the case.
The project proposal must describe the project in detail, its objectives, plan of action, number of beneficiaries covered, number of people involved in the implementation of project, an itemized budget and any other relevant information.
The KIT members go through the proposals carefully, correspond with the members, intended beneficiaries, Brahmana Sabha and local Samoohams, soliciting more information where required.
The KIT members / donors makes a decision on the Projects based on broad discussions.
KIT treats each case as a project and needs the support of volunteers to work as Project Coordinator to ensure success to the project. The new selected projects are assigned a coordinator and he is responsible for monitoring progress and also make sure regular funding payment is sent. We work with other members, to share Project funding effort.
KIT aims to ensure that the Projects funded are fairly distributed - as wide as possible - and no concentration is permitted
The financial aid being provided may not be the entire amount required by the Project / beneficiary. It would be guided by pre-fixed limits for each category and the feedback KIT receives from its sources.
The Project managers / Local KIT Ambassadors will be required to provide complete financial and narrative reports (and photographs, if possible) on the progress of Project when desired by KIT (not more than 4 times during a year).
